I think the “Never read the comments” mentality is so dumb. Why wouldn’t you read the comments? It shows how people out there, in the community, in the wide-world, are really thinking. I’m not saying you have to agree with the comments. They’re no doubt horrid, vile and some of them I’m sure are disgusting and not worth reading.
But really, read the damn comments, don’t be so high and mighty. You don’t have to change your mind, but at least learn what others are thinking, even if you disagree.
Did you know I don’t read your blog at all, ever, until you post about your “New Blog Post” on Twitter? It’s a fact! I won’t even read this blog post until I post it on Twitter.
Tweeted to Subway yesterday that I like their new hot sauce.
Then this happened!
Someone else finally stepped in and agreed that they were being obnoxious. Of course, I wasn’t included or mentioned then.
This person is truly the Internet Superhero we all need.
There’s a reason I don’t use Twitter Cards on my blog. They’re silly, they clutter up Twitter and only idiots who want lots of pageviews on their crappy personal blog (that’s always full of nothing but blather and slather) use them.
Morons. All of them.
Turn your ego down a few notches.
Because you tweeted something about Slater, or any of that other bullshit going on in the Media at the moment.
Morons don’t deserve attention.
